EVENT ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS BOOK LAUNCH FISHING TOURNAMENT THAT I CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN AND FOR ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH MY INVOLVEMENT IN THIS EVENT, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault. In consideration of my application and allowing me to participate in this activity, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this activity, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Zeke Pipher, Trinity Financial Group, David C. Cook, and all the various volunteers associated with this event. (B) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE Zeke Pipher, Trinity Financial Group, David C. Cook, and all the various volunteers associated with this event from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this volunteer activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the activity holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and assigns to help launch and promote The Far Bank: 40 Devotions for Anglers. The Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law. I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT.

To register for the tournament, click the shirt (image) below and purchase a Book Launch Tourney T-shirt. Purchasing a t-shirt serves as your registration fee. The shirt will be mailed directly to you in about 2 weeks. Shirts are $17 + shipping.

Important information about the tournament:

Date: August 2, 2025

On August 2: Participants can begin fishing at sun-up, and must stop fishing at 4:00 PM. Participants can fish any Nebraska waters.
Dinner will begin at 5:00. Location for dinner: 109 Timbercove Road, Marquette, Nebraska 68854
IMPORTANT: While you do not need to be present at the meal to win prize(s), you must present your photo evidence of the fish you wish to submit for prizes by text no later than 5:00 PM. Text entry photos to 308-940-2244, and include your name, time the fish was caught, and photo of the fish with a measuring stick/tape. Any perceived tie in length will be left up to the judges discretion.
Entry fee: Price of t-shirt + shipping.
All participants receive a copy of The Far Bank: 40 Devotions for Anglers

**PRIZES: $100 + 10 copies of The Far Bank will be awarded for each of the following categories:**

1. Biggest Largemouth Bass (length: photo with measuring tape required for entry)

2. Biggest Crappie (length: photo with measuring tape required for entry)

3. Biggest Walleye (length: photo with measuring tape required for entry)

4. Most fish caught: Participant must record each catch and time of catch and the journal must be validated by one other angler (or friend or family member)

5. Best photo from the day – photo must be submitted through your Instagram account using the hashtag #thefarbankdevo OR posted to Zeke Pipher’s Facebook page on the day of the tournament. (The goal for the photos is not only to have fun, but also to generate some energy for the book launch… help spread the word!)
